The apartments are on the second floor, and I mean, the 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’re inside. Everything just works the way it should, which sounds basic but honestly isn’t always guaranteed when you’re traveling.

What I really appreciate about staying here is the location – Ondřejská street is this perfect middle ground where you’re close enough to walk to the spa colonnade and all the main thermal springs (maybe ten minutes if you’re strolling), but you’re not dealing with the constant foot traffic and tour groups that can make the town center feel a bit overwhelming during peak season. The street itself is pretty quiet, especially in the evenings, which is gold if you’re someone who actually wants to sleep well on vacation. There’s this little grocery shop maybe two blocks away that locals use, and you’ll find better prices there than near the tourist spots – just saying. The whole neighborhood has this lived-in feel that I really love; you see people walking their dogs and going about their daily routines, not just clutching guidebooks and looking lost.

Check-in was refreshingly straightforward (no awkward lobby hovering), and the apartment setup means you’ve got space to actually unpack and settle in rather than living out of a suitcase. Having a proper kitchen is clutch if you want to grab some of those amazing local pastries and have coffee at your own pace instead of hunting for breakfast places. Plus, parking around here is actually manageable – not something you can say about everywhere in Karlovy Vary, trust me. The 3-star rating might make you think it’s basic, but honestly, sometimes you want a place that focuses on doing the essentials really well rather than loading you up with amenities you’ll never use. This feels more like borrowing a friend’s really nice apartment than staying in a hotel, which is exactly the vibe some trips call for.
