First Impressions
Walking into Apartmá Andrea 1907 feels like stepping into someone’s beautifully restored family home — which, honestly, is exactly what makes this place so special. The building dates back to 1907 (hence the name), and you can tell they’ve put real thought into preserving its character while making it work for modern travelers. It’s tucked away on Ondřejská street, and I mean tucked away — you might walk past it if you’re not paying attention, but that’s part of its charm.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I love about the location in Karlovy Vary — you’re actually in the heart of things without being stuck in tourist chaos. The famous colonnades are just a few minutes’ walk away, but you get to retreat to this quiet residential street when you need a break from the spa crowds. Recent guests have been raving about the location, and I get why. You can easily walk to the main thermal springs, but you’re also close enough to those little local cafés that most visitors never discover. There’s parking available too, which honestly saves you a headache if you’re driving through the Czech Republic.
The Space Itself
This four-star place operates more like a boutique apartment rental than a traditional hotel, and that’s exactly what works about it. Each unit has its own personality — mine had these gorgeous original hardwood floors and windows that actually opened wide (you know how rare that is these days). The kitchen setup is proper too, not just some mini-fridge situation. I ended up cooking breakfast a couple mornings because, well, why not? The local market is right there, and it felt nice to have that option.
What Makes It Special
The thing about Apartmá Andrea 1907 is that it doesn’t try too hard. The owners clearly know what they’re doing — the 9.1 rating speaks for itself — but they’ve kept things authentic rather than going for some generic boutique hotel vibe. My room had this perfect reading corner by the window where I could watch people heading to the morning spa treatments. The building’s quiet too, which matters when you’re trying to actually relax. And honestly? The price point makes sense for what you get, especially compared to some of the fancier spa hotels that charge twice as much for half the character.
Why Guests Love It
Couples seem to really connect with this place — I noticed that in the guest feedback, and I can see why. There’s something romantic about staying somewhere with actual history, where you can cook dinner together and then stroll out for evening drinks at the thermal springs. The staff knows the area inside and out too, so you get those insider tips about which springs are less crowded in the mornings or where to find the best traditional Czech food. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re living in Karlovy Vary rather than just visiting it, if that makes sense.
Early hotels booking in Karlovy Vary requires advance planning during peak wellness seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s renowned thermal springs and relaxation treatments.

What Our Guests Say
Clean apartment, very nice location and Klaudie was very kind and helpful Clean apartment, very nice location and Klaudie was very kind and helpful
Very Good We had a pleasant stay at Apartma Andrea 1907. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had a great experience. The only minor issue was the humidity in the bathroom, which could be a bit high at times. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would recommend these apartments to others. Thank you for your hospitality!
Very convenient for main attractions, ideal for a couple. Great location very close to town centre and attractions. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. Excellent communication from friendly host with clear checkin instructions. Appreciated the flexibility with luggage storage.
What could be improved: Bathroom is very small and difficult to shower without putting water all over the floor. No mop or extra towels provided to manage this.
We didn’t ask about the washing machine mentioned in the listing however it's not in the apartment itself; presumably a communal laundry for the building.
Advertised on Booking.com as 2 brm but actually 1 brm with sofa bed in the lounge. The bed splits into two singles which seems to be common in Europe.
Exceptional very helpfull instructions, friendly attitude
Cosy and confortable the apartment is very clean, well equipped, the bed is very comfortable, and above all close to all attractions (on foot). very helpful host
What could be improved: nothing
Exceptional Apt very suitable in walking distance to the pedestrian area of Karlovy Vary. Neat and clean, nice and tasteful design. Minimalistic but with everything what is needed for a stay. Klaudie answered quickly to all our questions. We were very satisfied.
Overall nice apartment with all the necessary utilities available. Very nice and supportive host!!! The location is very close to the Main Street
What could be improved: Location from Google Maps is quite tricky. Could have been better described
Exceptional Very good location, beautiful and clean apartment. Klaudie always replied very fast.
I recommend it unconditionally to the booking.com community.
What could be improved: Everything was awesome.
Beautiful accommodation! The apartment was great! Super clean, everything we needed and more. The location was great - easy walking distance to everything including the xmas markets, shops and transport. The host was lovely, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We would stay here again.
What could be improved: The lobby or entrance way to the building is old and tired but looks like it might be under renovation - this is super minor and purely cosmetic and didn't effect our stay at all.
Wonderful location
What could be improved: The sockets in the kitchen are loosened.
The location of the washing machine is inconvenient.
