What I really loved is that you’re close enough to duck into that little bakery on the corner for fresh koláče in the morning (the locals line up there around 7 AM, so go early), but far enough from the main drag that you actually get some peace in the evenings.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room, you know? There’s this lived-in comfort that makes you want to kick off your shoes and settle in for more than just a night or two. The kitchen is small but functional – I made coffee there every morning and it had everything I needed, though the coffee maker is one of those European ones that takes some figuring out if you’re not used to it. Check-in was refreshingly simple too; none of that formal front desk stuff, just straightforward communication and keys that actually work on the first try. The wifi was solid, which honestly surprised me since a lot of older buildings in this part of town can be hit or miss with internet.
