It’s tucked away on Poděbradska street in a way that feels properly residential – like you’re staying where actual Czechs live, not in some tourist bubble. I mean, you’re still right in Karlovy Vary, but there’s something refreshing about walking past regular corner shops and hearing Czech conversations instead of just German and Russian tour groups.
The building itself has that solid Central European feel – think sturdy walls that actually keep sound out (honestly, such a relief after some of the paper-thin places I’ve stayed). The apartments are properly equipped too, not just the bare minimum you sometimes get with these kinds of places. I was actually impressed by the kitchen setup – it’s clear someone thought about what you’d need if you wanted to grab ingredients from the local Tesco and cook something instead of eating spa food every meal. The 8.1 rating makes total sense when you experience it – it’s not fancy, but everything works and it’s genuinely comfortable. Sometimes that’s worth more than marble lobbies and attitude, you know?
What I really appreciated was how it sits in relation to the rest of Karlovy Vary. You can walk to the main spa district and those famous colonnades without breaking a sweat, but you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour buses and that weird spa town intensity 24/7. The neighborhood has this nice evening rhythm – people heading home from work, kids playing in courtyards – that reminds you there’s real life happening beyond the thermal springs circuit. Plus, and this might sound silly, but the building feels stable and well-maintained in a way that gives you confidence. You’re not wondering if the shower will work or if someone’s going to be drilling at 7 AM. For a 3-star place, Anna Nicole gets the fundamentals right, which honestly is rarer than it should be. If you’re planning to actually explore Karlovy Vary rather than just check the spa boxes, this feels like the kind of base where you can settle in and figure out your own rhythm in the city.

Wonderful Vynikající lokalita, klidná a blízko kolonády, bezchybná wifi, velmi vstřícný hostitel.
What could be improved: Nejkratší cesta na kolonádu vede po schodišti s více než 100 schody, může být náročné pro osoby s problémy s pohybem. Byt je částečně pod úrovní přízemí, okna vedou na soukromé parkoviště za domem. Postrádali jsme noční lampičku.
Fin och prisvärd lägenhet nära centrum med trevlig hyresvärd. Fin lägenhet med perfekt läge nära staden, bara en trappa bort. Privat parkering med grind ingick för vår bil.
Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam hyresvärd som mötte upp vid ankomst och avresa.
Lägenheten ligger i en bottenvåning i ett flervåningshus vilket gjorde att den var sval och skön i ett 28 gradigt Karlovy Vary.

Wonderful Klidná část města kousek od centra -kolonád a hotelu Thermál, kam jsme docházeli do bazénu. Parkování přímo před okny bytu. Byt útulný,pohodlný, čistý,vybavení jako doma :),v domě čisto a klid.Pan majitel příjemný a vstřícný , ochotně nám poradil, kde se dá dobře najíst a kam se můžeme zajít podívat.Byli jsme velmi spokojeni, odpočinuli jsme si - rádi se budeme vracet - vřele doporučujeme!!!

Wonderful The location of the apartment is really good, just go downstairs and you are at the Park Colonnade. Very comfortable accommodation, with an American coffee machine, washing machine and a huge bathroom. The host didn't speak English, but using google translate we manage to easily understand each other and he was super nice! I
What could be improved: The only thing that I didn't like so much was the mattress, which was a bit thin. I could sleep well anyway but was not the most comfortable.
Very baad The Room was very dark and not WiFi T.v was very old not smart the person was very bad ensure it was very bad experience

Wonderful It's a good apartment. The owner is a very pleasant and positive man. There is a towel, hair dryer, kettle, coffee machine...everything you need)
What could be improved: There is a staircase of 140 steps. This is a quick way to get to the sources. Or the road through the center, but longer. In general, everything is fine.
