Walking up to Apartment Aqua Vita on Svahova street, you immediately get that \”this is going to be good\” feeling. It’s one of those four-star places that doesn’t try too hard but gets everything right — you know what I mean? The building has this understated elegance that fits perfectly with Karlovy Vary’s spa town vibe, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering.
The Perfect Spot
Here’s the thing about staying here — you’re literally in the heart of everything without being stuck in tourist chaos. I mean, you can walk to the famous colonnades in just a few minutes, but when you come back to your apartment, it actually feels peaceful. The couples who stay here aren’t wrong when they rave about it — there’s something romantic about having your own space while being so close to all those beautiful spa buildings and gardens.
Your Home Away From Home
What really sets this place apart is that you get a proper apartment, not just a hotel room. Each unit comes with a fully equipped kitchen, which is honestly a game-changer when you’re staying for more than a night or two. You can grab fresh bread from the local bakeries (there’s a fantastic one just around the corner) and make your own breakfast, or store those Czech beers you’ll inevitably buy too many of. The apartments are spacious and well-designed — nothing fancy, but everything works perfectly.
Living Like a Local
The neighborhood itself is what I’d call \”real Karlovy Vary\” — you’ll see locals heading to work in the morning, not just tourists with cameras. There’s a small grocery store within walking distance, and you’re close enough to the thermal springs that you can easily incorporate them into your daily routine. Actually, one of my favorite things was being able to pop out for an evening stroll through the spa district and then come back to my own quiet space.

Look, the 9.6 rating isn’t an accident — this place just works. The staff is helpful without being intrusive, the apartments are immaculately clean, and there’s something satisfying about having your own front door key in a spa town. Plus, if you’re traveling as a couple, you’ll appreciate having space to spread out and relax properly after days of exploring. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but for the combination of location, space, and that \”home away from home\” feeling, it’s pretty hard to beat.

kitchen has a lot of utensils for cooking. The apartment has two TVs, a washing machine, it

Exceptional Beds was so comfortable, the apartment was made cozy for our arrival ,it got heated floor .Everything was provided by Hr Alexander literally you can just go and buy your food and even cook if you need .I can't found any fault to this apartment in the heart of Karlovy vary.
What could be improved: Maybe only the parking .About 500m away from apartment, but was free of charge and with no issues because opposite was the Police station.
Exceptional Stated 4 nights finding this a perfect location for those that want proximity to transport while also doorstep access to the forest. Very quiet street, forest entry a few meters away, well kitted out apartment and kitchen, nice deep bath, prompt communication with Alexandre (via Google translate), and he even provided chivalrous transfers to and from the station complimentary of his own initiative! What a great guy.
What could be improved: Minor detraction of a slightly strange and cumbersom double internal door into apartment. Also being on the ground floor meant a little bit of extra noise from other occupants coming and going through the main complex entryway outside the bedroom. Building entryway possibly needs more lighting (sesors go off after a few seconds which isnt long enough to wrestle the apartment double door situatuon for newbies) but nothing a mobile phone torch light doesn't fix.
Overall a fantastic stay and would be delighted to return again.
