Apartment Naty
You know what caught me off guard about Apartment Naty?
You know what caught me off guard about Apartment Naty? Walking up to this place on Moskevská street, I was expecting something pretty basic – I mean, it’s technically a 3-star spot – but honestly, it punches way above its weight. The building itself has that classic Karlovy Vary charm without being too touristy about it, and you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the main colonnade action without dealing with all the cruise group chaos that hits the prime real estate spots.
The apartment itself is where things get interesting. It’s got this lived-in feel that actually works in its favor – nothing fancy or Instagram-perfect, but everything you need is there and it all just… works. The kitchen’s properly equipped (not those sad hotel kitchenettes with one broken burner), and I actually found myself cooking a few meals instead of eating out every night, which in Karlovy Vary can get pricey fast. The bed situation is solid – I’m pretty particular about mattresses and this one didn’t leave me waking up cranky. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Moskevská isn’t one of those streets where drunk spa-goers stumble around at 2 AM, so you actually get decent sleep.
Here’s the thing about the location that locals know but guidebooks don’t always mention – you’re positioned perfectly between the old town thermal springs and the newer parts of the city where actual Czechs shop and eat. There’s a little grocery store maybe two blocks down that saved me multiple times, and if you walk about eight minutes toward the Teplá River, you hit this stretch where the tourist density drops off completely and you can actually breathe. Parking was surprisingly manageable too – not guaranteed, but I never had to circle for more than ten minutes, which around here counts as a win. The whole setup just felt practical in a way that those fancy spa hotels sometimes don’t. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the water pressure in the shower was actually impressive. After a day of walking around those thermal baths and hiking up to Diana Tower (which, by the way, you should absolutely do), a proper shower makes all the difference. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere real instead of just passing through.
Hotels in Karlovy Vary offer visitors the opportunity to stay in the heart of this wellness paradise, with easy access to thermal baths, glass factories, and cultural venues.
