I mean, when you first walk up to Masaryka street (locals just call it the main drag), you’re expecting maybe another cookie-cutter hotel situation, but this place actually has some character to it. The building itself sits right in that sweet spot where you’re close enough to everything that matters in Karlovy Vary, but you’re not drowning in the tourist chaos that hits the main colonnade area.
What I really appreciated – and honestly didn’t expect from a 3-star setup – was how they’ve managed to make the apartments feel like, well, actual apartments rather than hotel rooms with a kitchenette slapped in. The space breathes a bit, you know? There’s this lived-in quality that makes you want to settle in for more than just a night or two. The kitchens are properly equipped too, which is clutch if you’re planning to grab some of those amazing local ingredients from the market near the Tržnice. Speaking of which, you’re literally a five-minute walk from some of the best morning coffee in town – there’s this little spot that the spa workers hit up before their shifts start, and trust me, it beats whatever tourist trap coffee you’ll find closer to the hot springs.
The neighborhood vibe is what really sold me though. During the day, you’ve got that gentle hum of people heading to their spa treatments, but come evening, it actually quiets down in a way that lets you hear yourself think. I stayed there during shoulder season in October, and honestly, it felt like having a little base camp while the rest of the town was doing its thermal spring thing. The 7.5 rating makes sense – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but everything works the way it should, the heating doesn’t clank all night (crucial for those chilly Bohemian evenings), and the staff actually seems to know what’s happening around town. They pointed me toward this incredible traditional restaurant about ten minutes away that I never would have found otherwise. Oh, and parking – if you’re driving, there’s street parking that’s way less of a headache than what you’ll deal with closer to the spa district. Just saying.

Disappointing The location is pretty good
The apartment is mostly clean
What could be improved: There was no prior communication before our arrival, so I had to ask all the questions. As a result owner refused to give us keys before we pay the city tax (we payed for the whole flat in advance). Because we don't know Czech language (even though in description English is highlighted as an option) it took about an hour to figure out what does he want and he was pretty aggressive about us trying to figure out what else should we pay for and almost used force to get the key that he gave to us. He also demanded cash, but when we eventually got to the apartment there was information pamphlet where it was mentioned, that bank transfer can be accepted as city tax payment.
The fridge is working as a freezer only. So we couldn't buy products in advance and use it in general
Disappointing Even we talk very good Czech language the host was in bad manner and it was too complicated to find the location. We stayed there with our elder parents and kids. The owner is irresponsible for documentation and we had to wait a long for entry.
Fair for 1 night, but issues with the hot water, towels and dust. Central location. The bedroom is big. The kitchen is good, although we didn't use it. Was quite easy to have the keys.
What could be improved: It is on the last floor (4th or 5th), without a lift. Although we didn't have any issue with it, this can be a problem for people with limited accessibility.
On the first night, after my husband took a shower, the boiling stops to work and I had to take a cold shower. It was very uncomfortable. I understand the limitations of boiling, but there should be an explanation about it before, to limit the time of the shower as max as we can.
There was a lot of dust in the apartment. In the toilet, there were a lot of ants.
The towels they gave to us were so small that we barely covered our bodies.
Wonderful Great central location. Everything clean and working. Apartment is large with plenty of space.

What could be improved: Be aware that you need to climb several flights of stairs. No a problem for us- but could be for others.
Check in with local shopkeeper was a little odd- but worked out fine.
Wonderful Clean ,cosy apartment and the the owner was very helpful when we struggled with some things. Late check out without problems was grest, location perfect and equipment too.
What could be improved: Just the stairs:D definitely not for older people but that's just how is it in such older buildings:)

What could be improved: old bedroom photos. we needed 2 beds, but in reality we have got just one.

very very cold, 5 floor without elevator nothing good, the worst on my life
What could be improved: apartment is in 5 floor without elevator (100 steps), very cold all night, we where qith small child and we are all 3 ill after be cold all night. tv is not working ( any channel you can watch). In reservation was wrotte 2 rooms and was only 2 beds room. very cold and 100 steps with child chair is not fun. owner didnt help, just said is problem of town but radiators where not working.
