It’s tucked away on the second floor of number 11, which honestly makes it feel more like you’re staying at a friend’s stylish apartment than some sterile hotel room.

What really got me was how thoughtfully everything was set up. I mean, whoever runs this place actually thinks about what travelers need – and I’m not talking about the usual “here’s a tiny soap bar” approach. The space feels genuinely lived-in but pristine, if that makes sense. You can tell they’ve put real money into the furnishings without going overboard with that fake luxury vibe some places try too hard to achieve. The kitchen setup is particularly solid if you’re planning to grab groceries from the Tesco down the way rather than eating out every meal (which, let’s be honest, adds up fast in the spa district).

Being on Moskevská puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to the main colonnade and all those famous hot springs, but you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups that camp out near the Hotel Imperial area. It’s maybe a seven-minute stroll to the Mill Colonnade – I timed it because I’m weird like that – and you pass some really nice local spots along the way. The street itself is pretty quiet, especially in the evenings, though you’ll hear a bit of daytime activity since it’s still central. Parking was actually manageable too, which anyone who’s driven around Karlovy Vary’s old town will appreciate. That 9.3 rating it’s got makes total sense once you spend a night there – it’s the kind of place where the small details work in your favor instead of against you, and honestly, that’s rarer than it should be.
