I mean, the name “byt 69m2 na Trzni kolonáde” might sound a bit clinical, but honestly – this spot gets the location thing absolutely right. You’re literally on the shopping colonnade, which means you can grab your morning coffee and pastries without even thinking about it, then wander down to the hot springs before the tour groups arrive around 10 AM.
The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there, not like those sterile hotel rooms where everything’s bolted down. There’s enough space to spread out your stuff (thank god, because I always overpack), and the windows face the colonnade so you get this constant, gentle buzz of activity without the noise being overwhelming. Actually, I found it kind of soothing – you hear people chatting in different languages as they stroll by, the occasional clink of spa cups, maybe some street musician in the distance. The kitchen setup is surprisingly functional too, which matters if you’re staying more than a couple nights or if you want to grab groceries from the little shops nearby instead of eating out every meal. I picked up some amazing local cheese and bread one evening and just enjoyed dinner while watching the sunset light hit the building across the way.
What really struck me about staying here was how it puts you right in the rhythm of the town. You’re steps away from the Mill Colonnade and the other famous springs, but you’re also close enough to the quieter residential streets where locals actually live and work. I’d walk down toward the Teplá River in the mornings when it was still cool, then come back through the main spa area once I was ready to deal with the crowds. The whole setup just works – you feel connected to what makes Karlovy Vary special without being stuck in the most touristy bubble. Plus, and this might sound small, but the building’s entrance is easy to find even when you’re dragging luggage and trying to figure out Czech street signs. Sometimes it’s those little practical things that make or break a stay, you know? For a 3-star place, this apartment punches way above its weight class – that 9.5 rating isn’t just people being generous.

Everything was perfect! Thanks. Everything was great! I really enjoyed my stay and can definitely say this is one of my best experiences with renting apartments for the short time. The best thing is that you I in this beautiful apartment I could stay with my dog as it’s dog friendly space. The host Lucy and her husband was super friendly and responsive. Lucy kindly explained in detail how to get to the apartment, it made the whole process much easier and reduced my worries before arriving. I also want to say special thanks and that I was very pleased to find that the apartment had essentials, such as hand soap, dishwashing supplies and liquid, kitchen towels, sponges, toilet paper and napkins. And I was very pleased that the apartment looked just like the picture on Booking and even better. Thank you for that. Apartment is super new and fresh and all the furniture is high quality and smell fresh wood. The beds have perfect orthopaedic mattress which help you to enjoy your sleep. The windows overlook the city center and the apartment has a lot of light because of the beautiful large windows, which is a huge plus for me. Also I can surely say it’s quite apartment and I didn’t hear anything from the street. Everything was extremely hospitable and comfortable. And Lucy also gave me a free cleaning as a gift, which was incredibly nice! Thank you very much for everything.
What could be improved: The flat is based at the second floor and there wasn’t a working elevator and this made my moving in and moving out quite challenging as I’m a tender girl who traveled with two suitcases.
When I arrived the woshing mashing was moldy inside, but I cleaned it excellently buy myself, so now it’s not a problem.
My first three -four days the apartment didn’t has hitting and it was cold, but afterwards Lucy with her husband kindly brought the electric hitter.
The blankets and pillows were of poor quality, but fortunately there were good quality blankets and pillows in the closet and I simply changed them, because it was impossible to sleep under those heavy ones.

What could be improved: Отсутствие вилона и коврика в ванной.Вода при мытьё брызгает на бол .Шторы на окнах в одной из спален не прикрывают окна полностью.
