Look, I’ve stayed at my fair share of three-star places in Karlovy Vary, and honestly? Eurohotel surprised me in the best possible way. It’s tucked away on Stara Kysibelska street – which, I’ll admit, sounds intimidating if you don’t speak Czech, but it’s actually this quiet residential area about a fifteen-minute walk from the main spa colonnade. The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense Eastern European charm that you either love or find completely boring. I’m in the first camp.
What really struck me was how the staff seemed to actually give a damn. Check-in was smooth (they spoke decent English, thank god), and the guy at reception – Pavel, I think? – genuinely seemed to know the area well. He steered me away from the tourist trap restaurants near the hot springs and pointed me toward this little place on Zahradní street where locals actually eat. The rooms are clean and functional without trying to be something they’re not. Mine faced the street, which I was worried about noise-wise, but Karlovy Vary isn’t exactly Prague – it gets pleasantly quiet after 9 PM. The bathroom was recently renovated, though the shower pressure could use some work. Not terrible, just… well, you know how it is with older buildings.
Here’s the thing that really won me over – the location is actually perfect if you’re planning to explore beyond the main tourist circuit. You’re close enough to walk to the famous springs (Diana Lookout Tower is maybe twenty minutes on foot), but you’re also right there when you want to grab groceries or find a decent coffee shop that doesn’t charge tourist prices. There’s a tram stop practically around the corner that’ll get you to the train station in minutes, which was clutch when I was hauling my suitcase around. The breakfast wasn’t anything to write home about – standard continental stuff – but the coffee was surprisingly good, and they had actual Czech pastries alongside the usual hotel fare. I mean, you’re not coming to Karlovy Vary to stay in your hotel room anyway, right? You want something clean, comfortable, and well-positioned, and Eurohotel delivers on all three without any pretense. The 8.4 rating makes total sense to me – it’s the kind of place that just works, you know what I mean?

Great. Clean, comfortable, very good breakfast with the British look ambience. the dining hall is very pretty and lovely. Just across the bus stop so a very good location.
Good for the prize We have stayed for one night stand only but we really enjoyed the communication with hotel and staff was really friendly. They gave us an opportunity as for the first guests to choose the room type. We also enjoyed big bathroom and shower which was bigger than normal. Free parking and good breakfast was big plus.
What could be improved: The bed was not that comfortable but it depends what type of bed you prefer. Also the distance was about 30 minutes walk from the center but we counted with this so no problem at all. The reception is not opened for 24/7 but we had a keys.

Its a decent hotel and only a 6 euro taxi ride from the centre but nothing to do in the local area Huge room with a separate lounge area. I don't think they see many English tourists so communication can be difficult unless you speak a little German. The reception staff were really helpful though! Huge car park and very quiet area. Bus stop around the corner. Breakfast included was very nice.
What could be improved: Location is 3 miles miles outside the city and it almost feels like a total backwater. There is a supermarket ( close at 8 ) and a petrol station, and that's it! Feels very 1985 inside.
There is no bar or evening restaurant here, so make sure to buy your own beer if you want a night to chill at the hotel.
OK if you don't mind travelling into the centre The room was a very good size, comfortable and clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The food at breakfast was nice with a good variety of options.
What could be improved: There was no shower gel in the bathroom, which had been listed as included in the room, so we hadn't brought our own as we were travelling light. My husband went to ask at reception and after a while they found a few sachets to give us. The tea, coffee and juice at breakfast were awful. Location is quite obscure and far from the centre, but we managed OK with local buses.
Wonderful It was a really silent hotel, as it was at it was not close to the city centre, the personnelle was really friendly, speaking German more than English
Very good hotel on the outskirts. To the center on foot about 20 min., bus # 6 about 5-6 min. the appearance of the room is very good, clean but the bed unfortunately needs to be replaced. Great breakfast, the appearance of the hotel inside and out, great, very large parking lot with an automatic gate.
What could be improved: the only problem is the worn out bed.

Great accommodation, for a short family stay in Karlovy Vary Easy to access from the main road. Easy parking. Nicely maintained garden. Superb breakfast! Good public transport link to city center. Petrol station, 2 supermarkets in 5 minutes walk. The hotel exceeded my expectations.
What could be improved: Nothing really.
Spacious rooms, good breakfast - offered everything needed for a short stay Great value for money. The rooms were big and clean. The breakfast was ample and diverse. Free parking on premise was a huge plus.
