There’s this great little bakery maybe two blocks over that locals actually use (not the overpriced stuff near the hot springs), and you can walk to the funicular that goes up Petřín Hill without having to navigate through crowds first. Parking was easier than I expected too – there’s street parking that doesn’t cost a fortune, which is honestly a relief in Karlovy Vary. The 8.5 rating makes sense when you factor in that you’re getting solid value without any major headaches. It’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but everything works the way it should, the place is clean, and the staff seems to actually care about whether you find what you need in the city. For what you pay, especially compared to those fancy spa hotels closer to the colonnade, Francis Apartment delivers exactly what most people actually want from their stay.
