So I stayed at Karlsbad Prestige on Tržiště street last spring, and honestly? This place gets it right in ways that surprised me. You know how sometimes a hotel looks perfect online but feels sterile in person? Not here. The moment you walk in, there’s this warm, lived-in elegance that actually makes sense for Karlovy Vary – it’s refined without trying too hard to impress tourists who are just passing through.
The location is what really sold me, though. Tržiště is this quieter side street that locals actually use, so you’re not constantly dodging tour groups like you would near the main colonnade. But here’s the thing – you’re still only a three-minute walk to the Mill Colonnade, and there’s this little bakery right around the corner that does incredible koláče (the owner speaks perfect English, which was a relief for my terrible Czech). The street itself has that authentic Karlovy Vary vibe, with those beautiful Art Nouveau buildings that haven’t been over-restored. I mean, you can hear the trams in the distance, but it’s more atmospheric than annoying.
What struck me most was how the staff seemed to actually know the area – not just the typical tourist spots. When I mentioned wanting to find a good place for dinner away from the main drag, the front desk guy recommended this Georgian restaurant on Zámecký vrch that I never would have found otherwise. The rooms themselves feel properly Czech – tall ceilings, solid furniture that’s actually comfortable, and windows that open wide (thank god, because spring evenings here are perfect). The bathroom was surprisingly spacious, and the water pressure was excellent, which matters when you’ve been walking around those hills all day. Check-in was smooth, parking was sorted without drama, and the whole experience felt… well, effortless. That 9.7 rating makes sense when you’re there – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything just works the way it should.

BEAUTIFUL. I will definitely return! The apartment was quite lovely — spacious, high quality appliances and comfortable furniture. It is located right on the river in the pedestrian section of the town. High ceilings, well appointed kitchen.
What could be improved: Difficult to get to / from the property; staff did not really speak English making it a challenge to communicate; kitchen needed a few more accessories (eg, oil, salt, any spices or dry goods to get you started), and ice-making trays.
Lux holiday with value! After traveling 20 years, this might be the best accommodation ever. Location is fantastic and flat itself is great. All you need to stay here even longer time. Kitchen is fully equipped and everything is super clean!
What could be improved: This is nothing to do with accommodation, but because location is on pedestrian area, it is bit challenging to carry all your luggages into room. There is slot in morning and evening where you drive to front door. Remember to book parking slot in advance!
Would return anytime An extremely large and clean apartment 100 m from the Colonnades on a flat street. Big and completely equiped kitchen. Extremely quiet, facing the pedestrian-only area. Full of restaurants and cafes.
What could be improved: Beds were on the hard side for us: a 8 only.

Exceptional Location, view from window, friendliness of staff, kitchen and amenities. Main bed was comfy.
What could be improved: Information was a bit partial about the parking, there's an additional cost (not much) to the municipality if you wish to exit and re enter the parking area, apart from first and last day.
There was a jacuzzi but no proper stand in shower.

Perfect, would stay here again on next visit Absolutely stunning! Extremely spacious apartment with big very well equipped kitchen and big bathroom with shower and tub, and one more extra toilet. Apartment is right in the city center, at the footstep of main mineral spring - Vřidlo. Whole accommodation is even more beautiful than on pictures! Definitely good value for money.

The building is nice and clean, the apartment is amazing, the town is beautiful. I loved everything about this property besides the fact that it had no shower, just a hot tub.
