Laura´s Apartment
You know what?
You know what? Laura’s Apartment completely surprised me when I stayed there last spring. I mean, the name doesn’t exactly scream luxury, but honestly – this place punches way above its weight. It’s tucked away on Hynaisova street, which is actually perfect because you’re close enough to walk into the spa district in about ten minutes, but far enough that you don’t get the crowds of tourists wandering around at all hours.
The apartment itself feels like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have really good taste. Laura (I’m assuming that’s the owner) has clearly put thought into the details – there’s this cozy reading nook by the window that catches the morning light beautifully, and the kitchen is actually functional, not just some tiny kitchenette thrown in as an afterthought. The whole space has this warm, lived-in feeling that most hotels can’t replicate, even when they try really hard. What really impressed me was how quiet it gets at night. Karlovy Vary can be bustling during the day with all the spa-goers, but this street settles down nicely after dinner. I slept better here than I have in some five-star places, to be honest.
The location works so well because you’re in a proper residential area – there’s a little grocery store just around the corner where locals actually shop, and you can grab fresh bread in the morning without dealing with tourist prices. Walking to the famous colonnades is easy, but you also discover these side streets that most visitors miss entirely. I found this tiny café about three blocks away that serves the best goulash I had during my entire Czech Republic trip, and I never would have stumbled across it if I’d stayed in the main hotel district. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s one of those places where everything just works without being fancy about it. The shower has proper water pressure, the wifi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase. Sometimes that’s all you really need, especially when you’re spending most of your time exploring the town anyway.
Hotels near me in Karlovy Vary offer convenient access to the spa promenade, where guests can easily walk to thermal springs, colonnades, and luxury wellness centers.

What Our Guests Say
I liked it very much. If I were to come to Karlovy Vary again, I would definitely move back into the Very comfortable apartment. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Very high ceilings create a sense of space and freedom. Large windows in human height. Very nice shower. There is everything you need for cooking.
What could be improved: The bed in the bedroom is very soft and not very comfortable
Family stay Great location! Not too much in the center, quiet but close enough to walk in the old town. Flat is well equipped, everything we needed was there. Communication with host was also clear and timely. Recommend!
Wonderful Near bus stop. 5 min walk to wonderful panoramic view spot.
Great apartment within walking distance (steep) of everything. Beautiful apartment.
What could be improved: Warm. No fans
Nice option for staying in Karlovy Vary The apartment is very quiet and fully equipped with everything you need.
What could be improved: For some people it might be a problem that the apartment is on a first floor without elevator.
Wonderful Spacious, clean, helpful and friendly staff, 10 min
walking distance to Hot Spring Collonade
Cosy and fully equipped This is a fully equipped flat, it was like being at home.
Great communication with the host, we got every important information about the check-in, etc.
The city centre of Karlovy Vary is only a few minutes on foot.
Dog-friendly accomodation, you can even find bowls to your pet.
Lot of foreign TV-channels (english, deutch, etc.)
What could be improved: The flat is in the spa zone, so the parking is a bit complicated. You can find free parking places a few streets away, if you are LUCKY.
We didn't know in advance that Laura, the host can provide us parking spot, so we haven't asked for that, and when we realized, it was already too late. But we have found free parking spot every night anyway, so we didn't have any inconvenience.
Wonderful Privacy, comfort, quiet place
Comfortable and well-presented apartment with all the facilities you need for a family stay The location was walkable to the city centre (beware the hills though! If you're not fit and able to do steep inclines, maybe think about driving or getting a taxi down/up!).
Lovely Italian restaurant opposite which we spent a couple of mealtimes at.
What could be improved: The parking wasn't guaranteed (there were no spaces on the free spaces in the roads nearby). My own fault for not checking ahead of time, but we could've used a local paid/gated car park with prior agreement. We took our chances in the end and left the car outside the restaurant (note to park in these spaces you should have a city parking permit/app).
A beautiful little apartment in a great location. Better if you don't have a car. Location was excellent, we were able to walk to the Saunia Thermal and back with children (10 and 12). We appreciated very much the washing machine and laundry soap available to us.
What could be improved: The parking in Karlovy Vary Spa Area is a disaster. We were unable to the book the recommended parking, and unable to park at the Diana Lookout, so we were unable to visit this. We were forced to drive around the streets and park on the side of the main road which was busy and crowded.
