Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Panorama Apartments on Na Vyhlidce, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the unassuming spots end up surprising you the most. The building itself sits on this quiet residential street that most tourists probably walk right past, which is actually perfect if you’re tired of dodging selfie sticks every time you leave your room.
What really got me was the view situation – and I mean, with a name like “Panorama,” it better deliver, right? Well, it does. The apartments (at least the ones facing the right direction) give you this sweeping look over Karlovy Vary that honestly beats what you’d get from some of the fancier hotels down in the valley. You can actually see the spa colonnade from up there, plus all those colorful baroque buildings that make the town look like a fairy tale. Mornings are the best – grab your coffee and watch the town wake up below while the thermal springs start steaming in the cool air. The apartments themselves are… well, they’re apartment-style, which means you get a proper kitchen if you want to skip the restaurant scene for a night. Nothing fancy, but everything works, and there’s something refreshing about having space to spread out your stuff instead of living out of a suitcase. The furnishing is that functional European style – clean lines, neutral colors, built to last rather than Instagram-ready, but honestly after a day of walking around those steep spa district streets, you just want somewhere comfortable to crash.
Here’s the thing about the location that took me a while to appreciate – yeah, you’re about a 10-minute walk uphill to get to the main action around the spa colonnade and all those famous hot springs. But that also means you’re away from the tour bus crowds and the constant flow of people clutching those weird ceramic spa cups. Plus, there’s a decent grocery store just around the corner on Bezručova if you want to stock up on Czech beer or those spa wafers everyone’s obsessed with. Parking was surprisingly painless too, which if you’ve ever tried to find a spot near the Grand Hotel Pupp during high season, you’ll know is basically a miracle. The whole area gets pretty quiet after dark, so don’t expect a vibrant nightlife scene right outside your door – but honestly, Karlovy Vary isn’t really that kind of place anyway. It’s more about the leisurely spa town vibe, long walks, and maybe a glass of Becherovka before bed. The fact that this place has a 9 rating with guests tells you something – it’s not trying to be the fanciest option in town, but it nails the basics and gives you genuine value. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Karlovy Vary through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best locations for experiencing the city’s therapeutic atmosphere and cultural heritage.

Nice and clean everything you need. Nice and clean everything you need.
Super very clean apartment!and is very convenient.
Very Good The location was near to the town and right in front of a bus stop, however parking was a bit problem, but owner managed to help and provide with good parking sport.
Great equipped, very clean place with some uncomfortable rules Most clean place I have ever booked. Very well equipped, also for monthly stays (washing machine, vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, full equipped kitchen). Exacting host.
What could be improved: The usage of the appartment is a bit overregulated, you have to read a lot to get to know the rules (etc. you have to take the rubbish out yourself otherwise extra costs apply). Complicated communication with the host in english (but she answers almost immediately). Our room on the 1st floor had just a little panorama.
Great Apartment - unfriendly Administration. Professional apartments with all amenities ever needed.
What could be improved: Poor Owner's/Administrator's attitude to the Customer.
After checking into Apartments I received the Message about the Rules to my future check out.
According to the Rules I would pay the EUR 50 fine if I didn't wash all dishes after myself and take away the Garbage with me while leaving.
Having 3 pcs of luggage and no lift in the Apartments I had to have it all with me from the 3d floor via rough stairs.
Second issue is that my door was knocked and was politely asked if I have left the apartments at 9:00 in the morning of the check out day because the cleaning staff received a text message from the Administrator that Apartments are available for cleaning. They actually showed me the message while apologized.
I pissed off with such rough and unfriendly attitude of the Apartment Administration.
Very Good The host gave all information in advance. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Parking space was really close to the apartment entrance.
What could be improved: View from the apartment was on the street and house on the other side of the street but we expected to have a view of the city.
Wonderful Very clean and spacious room. Large double beds. Good location
What could be improved: Traffic gets gets busy in the morning.
Check out could be an 1-2 h later.
Very nice place to stay for 8 people or family. Very good stay for big company(family). Good kitchen well equiped. Very comfortable stay.
What could be improved: Did not like the stairs :).
Exceptional The apartment was clean. Everything that we need were available in the apartment.
What could be improved: The stairs make so much noise
Exceptional Beautiful apartment, extremely clean and the owner was responsive. Nice walk/shortcut to the main square with gorgeous views.
