It’s tucked right on Tržiště street, which honestly feels like you’re staying in someone’s elegant neighborhood rather than a touristy hotel zone. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the main colonnades, but somehow it doesn’t feel like you’re in the thick of all that spa town chaos. The building itself has this understated charm – it’s not trying too hard to be fancy, which I actually appreciated after seeing some of the over-the-top places in Karlovy Vary.
The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid 4-star place, but there are these little touches that made me think someone actually cares about this place. The windows are proper double-paned (trust me, you’ll appreciate this if you’re sensitive to street noise), and they’ve got this mix of traditional Czech furnishings with modern comfort that doesn’t feel forced. What really sold me was the breakfast setup – they do this thing where they source a lot of local ingredients, and you can actually taste the difference in the bread and preserves. Plus, the staff seems to genuinely know the area. When I asked about hiking trails up to Diana Lookout Tower, the front desk guy gave me this whole rundown about which path to take depending on the weather, and he was spot on.
Here’s the thing though – if you’re coming during high spa season (basically May through September), book way ahead because this place fills up with people who’ve clearly stayed here before. I overheard at least three conversations during breakfast where guests were talking about their “usual room” or mentioning previous visits. That 8.9 rating makes sense when you experience the place – it’s not perfect (the Wi-Fi can be spotty on the upper floors, and parking is limited), but it gets the important stuff right. The location means you can walk to all the main springs and colonnades without dealing with the tour bus crowds, and honestly, after a long day of spa treatments and wandering around those beautiful but crowded areas, coming back to Tržiště street feels like retreating to your own little corner of the city. If you’re looking for that romantic Karlovy Vary experience without the tourist trap feeling, this place nails it.

Exceptional What could be improved: The only comment we have is that instead of a double bed, there were two mattrasses. For a hotel with "Romantic" in its name, it would be better to have a single mattrass. Other than that, it was fab.

What could be improved: The main room is really empty. There should be more hangers, comfortable chairs and tables ,pictures on the wall. There was no basic coffee or tea. They charged us for parking 20 EUR per day even though it says it’s free for hotel guests in the hotel policy book in the room. The pool is smaller than it looks in the pictures, not wam enough.
Very Good Excellent location, excellent breakfast, but not too many amenities available and you have to ask receptionist for keys every time you want to use pool or sauna. Also property didn’t provide transfers from the airport.
What could be improved: Overall we are pleased with our stay. There are some minor inconsistencies, but not really annoying. Staff was nice
Excellent location in the city centre We stayed in the hotel for 8 days, rooms are spacious and clean, with balcony’s, terrace and even a kitchen. Great Swimmingpool and sauna. Location is in the middle of the centrum, everything is reachable within short minutes.

What could be improved: One half star minus is the breakfast and coffee, which is always the same and coffee is not drinkable. Apparently if you stay longer you can request additional dishes for the breakfast, but it wasn’t mentioned anywhere :(

Romantic weekend in a Romantic hotel We spent a weekend in Karlovy Vary and were very pleased with the accommodation in Promenada Romantic Hotel. Great location in the city centre, but nevertheless quiet during the night, very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Hotel has an indoor pool and a small sauna. The breakfast was good with many choices. We also recommend the restaurant in the hotel. The dinner there was a memorable experience.

What could be improved: Breakfast is quite poor but ok for that price. What we didn’t like was the shower in one of the rooms (203) - old stained shower cabin, old hardly functioning shower head, it’s hard to adjust the water temperature.

Exceptional My family stayed and had a dinner. As many reviewers mentioned on this website and google maps, dinner was fantastic. Also, rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was better than expected.
What could be improved: I don't think swimming pool was also as expected. Temperature of water was not warm.
Wonderful Superb and smooth stay for two nights. Room spacious and clean, and the hotel staff communicative and attentive to requests.
