But you know what? Sometimes those are exactly the places that surprise you the most.
The thing about staying on Raisova street is that you’re actually in this sweet spot where you can walk to all the famous colonnades and thermal springs in about five minutes, but you’re not dealing with the tourist crowds right outside your window. I could hear the church bells from the nearby Orthodox church in the mornings (which is kind of lovely, actually), but the street itself stays pretty peaceful even during peak spa season. The apartments themselves are well… they’re proper apartments, not just hotel rooms with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner. I’m talking full kitchens where you can actually cook something decent, living areas where you can spread out, and – this was huge for me – proper spa facilities right in the building. After spending days soaking in the public thermal baths downtown, having your own private spa space to unwind in the evening felt like such a luxury.
What really impressed me was how the place manages to feel both homey and professionally run at the same time. The staff clearly knows their stuff about Karlovy Vary – they pointed me toward this little bakery on Zámecký vrch that I never would’ve found otherwise, and when I mentioned wanting to avoid the crowds at the Mill Colonnade, they suggested the best times to visit (early morning or late afternoon, if you’re wondering). The apartments are clean without being sterile, comfortable without being fancy, and honestly, after a long day of walking around those hills and sampling thermal water that tastes like… well, let’s just say it’s an acquired taste… you really appreciate having a proper space to relax. Sure, it’s not going to wow you with marble bathrooms or gold-plated fixtures, but that 9-star rating makes sense when you consider what you’re actually getting for the price. It’s the kind of place where everything just works the way it should, and in a spa town where you’re mainly there to focus on wellness and exploring, that’s exactly what you want.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Karlovy Vary at least two months ahead for major events like the Film Festival, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near thermal springs.

Duży apartament, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia, czysto Lokalizacja .W pobliżu sklep spożywczy JIP ( dobre ceny ) , restauracja gruzińska. Przystanek autobusowy . Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielką, bardzo troskliwa osoba cały czas w kontakcie. Wielkość apartamentu dwie toalety to duży plus , świetnie wyposażona kuchnia. Na dół do centrum polecam też zjazd kolejką z hotelu International ( budynek na ostatnim zdjęciu). Parking wzdłuż głównej ulicy niestety nsko miejsc parkingowych ,brak możliwości podjechania pod obiekt. My parkowaliśmy na ulicy Petrin wzdłuż muru ( blisko apartamentu ). .Odbiór kluczy w Pizzeria Locale w kopercie zdjęcia i instrukcje, na powitanie lazanske oblaty <3 . Do pełni szczęścia brakuje tylko info jakie autobusy odjeżdżają do centrum, my się nie mogliśmy połapać na tych rozkładach. Świetny pobyt,, bardzo dobra cena , bardzo dobry apartament ,bardzo czysto , bardzo dobra lokalizacja Polecamy
What could be improved: Jedyny minus to skrzypiące na piętrze podłogi ( zwłaszcza jak inni śpią a idziesz do łazienki) ale to stara kamiennica więc można to zrozumieć.
Wonderful Ruhige, "doppelstöckige" Wohnung in guter Lage, wenige hundert Meter vom Kurort-Zentrum entfernt. Man sollte gut zu Fuß sein, immerhin befindet sich das Haus nicht im Tal.
Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Viel Platz für bis zu vier Personen. Gut ausgestattete Küche, Bad, Wohnzimmer etc.
What could be improved: Im oberen "Stockwerk" knerzt der Boden stark. Das kann in der Nacht schon auch andere in der Wohnung wecken.
Ein sehr schönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Appartement mit viel Platz, ruhig und geräumig Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung auf zwei Etagen, liebevoll eingerichtet, alles war vorhanden. Die Halbhöhenlage gab uns die Möglichkeit, in 10 Min. zu den Thermen hinab zu steigen und rauf dauerte es ca. 15 Min. Es ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, auch der Bus und ein Laden sind ca. 50m entfernt. Sehr schönes Appartement. Alles vorhanden.
What could be improved: Zusätzliche Bettwäsche für die Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer wäre schön gewesen.

parkování jsme vždy našli lehce v blízké ulici

Exceptional Prostorné, čisté, dobře vybavené. Příjemná ubytovatelka. Parkování odpoledne se dalo najít, dopoledne někdy trochu dál.

Exceptional First of all, the Hostess was great. She took care to make our trip as pleasant and simple as possible. Check-in was very simple and thought out to the last detail. The house was clean and with all the furniture, super comfortable.
The apartment was in one of the nicest neighborhoods, 5 minutes walk to the first spring. Karlovy Vary is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen. It's worth a visit every month, at least for us living in Germany. I'm going back to the Raisova Apartment. Thank you Sarka .You are the best hostess 👑👑👑
