You know what caught me off guard about Apartments TGM 11? The location is honestly perfect if you actually want to experience Karlovy Vary like a local, not just snap photos at the colonnade. It’s right on Tomáše Garrigue Masaryka street – and before you panic about pronouncing that, just know that locals call it “TGM” which is way easier and makes you sound like you belong here.
The apartments themselves have this understated elegance that I wasn’t expecting from the name. I mean, “Apartments TGM 11” sounds pretty basic, right? But when you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about how people live, not just where they sleep for a night. The spaces feel genuinely livable – you’ve got proper kitchens where you can actually cook (the local markets are incredible, by the way), and the windows let in this amazing light that makes the whole place feel bigger than it is. What really sold me was the little details – decent coffee makers, enough outlets where you need them, and honestly, the Wi-Fi actually works everywhere, which is rarer than it should be in this part of Europe.
The neighborhood vibe is what really makes this place special though. You’re close enough to walk to the famous spa areas – it’s maybe ten minutes to the Mill Colonnade if you take your time – but you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups that can make the town center feel like a theme park during peak season. In the evenings, this street gets this lovely quiet energy where you’ll see locals heading home from work, maybe stopping at the small grocery store on the corner. The 8.8 rating makes total sense when you experience it – it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top luxurious, but everything just works really well. I stayed here in late spring, and mornings were particularly gorgeous – you could hear the town waking up gradually instead of being jolted awake by tour buses like you get closer to the main spa district. The only minor thing I’d mention is that parking can get a bit tight during the busier months, but there’s usually something within a block or two, and honestly, once you’re settled, you won’t need your car much anyway since everything worth seeing is walkable from here.

Exceptional I stayed there for over a month with my dog. Everything was good, friendly personnel, plenty of space, good location etc. My dog Kosmos also liked everyone and everything! Thanks for everything! :)
What could be improved: The internet could be a bit faster and at times the signal was not very good, but most of the time it worked although little bit slow.

A very pleasant stay I stayed in flat 21. The flat was very spacious, comfortable and bright. There was a sitting room, a separate bedroom, the kitchen and the toilet with the shower. The flat looks exactly as it is in the photos. The flat was overlooking the main street (T. G. Masaryka) but it was quiet when the windows were closed because they were double glazed. There is a very large sofa and a huge TV in the sitting room. I guess someone can sleep in that sofa. The bed was large and comfortable. The kitchen had the basic utilities. The flat is located close to the train and bus station (Karlovy Vary Terminal and Karlovy Vary Trznice). It did not take us more than 12 minutes to arrive to the flat. The area around the flat is commercial with cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops. There is a Billa supermarket just opposite the flat. The best part of Karlovy Vary (the walk along Tepla river) starts just around the corner. The walk between the flat and Grandhotel Pupp (a landmark of the area) is about 1900m long.
The flat does not have a special character in decoration, but it is convenient, comfortable and at a fair price. Communication with the host was easy through emails and we are grateful for allowing us to leave our luggage in the flat a few more hours after checking out since we had an evening flight.
What could be improved: The entrance of the building was disappointing because there were 2 garbage bins left in front of the outdoor and the stairs looked old. However, the flat was great and the lift was working well.
Some more utensils could be added to the kitchen, such as a cheese grater. A tissue roll is also needed.
Some coffee or tea bags could had been provided at least for the first day.
The curtains only partially blocked the sunlight in the morning.

Cosy, nice apartment Very close to the city center, a minute walk to the passage. Big space, nice and cosy. Huge, comfortable bed. We will come back.
What could be improved: Elevator is making sound every time someone calls it.

What could be improved: It was very strange when I got an instruction to bring some capsules for the coffee machine. Considering that we came from Canada and stayed only for 2 nights! I think for the price we paid we could have at least 1 cup of coffee in the morning....

Exceptional Amazing place, right in the middle of everything and calm at night. Super clean, spacious, easy Check-in and friendly communication. Will definitely come back here.
Wonderful The apartment is on the pedestrian street, with supermarket and stores next to it. It has all the facilities you need, for your stay, good heating and high quality wifi.
What could be improved: We used the elevator only once, afterwards it broke, this being an issue because the apartment is at 6th floor. If you travel by car, parking spaces near the location are reserved for residents, you have to park near the bus station, with 5 euro/day.
