Tomas Apartments Gold
You know what struck me first about Tomas Apartments Gold?
You know what struck me first about Tomas Apartments Gold? It’s tucked away on Zeyerova street in this quiet residential pocket of Karlovy Vary that most tourists completely miss. I mean, everyone’s rushing down to the main spa promenade, but here you are in this surprisingly peaceful corner where locals actually live and work. The building itself has that solid Central European apartment block feel – nothing flashy, but honestly, that’s part of its charm.
The apartments themselves are way more spacious than what you’d typically get for the price in Karlovy Vary (and trust me, this town can get pricey during spa season). Everything’s clean and functional, with kitchenettes that actually work – I’m talking full-size fridges, not those tiny hotel bar fridges that barely fit a yogurt. The furnishings are sort of that modern-but-not-trying-too-hard style, and while it won’t win any design awards, it feels like a real place where you could settle in for a few days. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. You’re close enough to walk to the thermal springs and the famous colonnades – maybe fifteen minutes on foot – but far enough that you’re not dealing with tour groups chattering outside your window at 7 AM.
Here’s the thing about staying in this part of town: you end up discovering the Karlovy Vary that isn’t all about expensive spa treatments and crystal shops. There’s a decent grocery store nearby (honestly essential if you’re staying more than a night), and you’ll find yourself walking past regular Czech life happening around you. The staff at Tomas Apartments actually know the area – they’re not just reading from a script about tourist attractions. When I needed directions to a specific thermal spring that’s a bit off the beaten path, the person at reception knew exactly which one I meant and gave me the kind of shortcut locals use. The 8.6 rating makes sense when you consider it’s doing exactly what it promises without any pretense. It’s three stars that feel like solid three stars, not three stars trying to convince you they’re five. Parking was straightforward (which, if you’ve driven in Czech spa towns, you know is not a given), and check-in was refreshingly efficient. Would I stay here again? Absolutely, especially if I wanted to experience Karlovy Vary without feeling like I’m living in a tourist bubble the entire time.

What Our Guests Say
Wonderfully located and cozy! Beautiful, just what you need! Center to everything.
What could be improved: Me and my friend struggled to open the main door of the apartment. It was such a pain to open each time but eventually we got the hang of it.
Exceptional Everything, amasing, location, room, additional things in room. Everything!!!! Recomandation for all passengers
What could be improved: Everything was perfect
Great place, no communication Very good location, services and clean room
What could be improved: Totally absent communication and wrong indication on the Booking insertion. It's not Zeyerova 90/3 but 934/3 near Pilsner Urquell Restaurant, we had to ask randomly to a waiter for the keys because for two days before nobody answered to the phone or email.
Exceptional The room was great! It had everything one can need and more! The location perfect as it is at the centre. Overall a very pretty apartment
Very Good The location and cleanness of the room were very good, and the room was comfortable. It's like home, where you can find everything.
Very Good Apartment is well located, small but very good equipped.
What could be improved: The communication with host was poor, phone calls and messages were ignored and instructions about check-in came very late (significantly after the agreed check-in time).
good choice great location, nice bed, sweet kitchen, great price
What could be improved: was hard to communicate with the owner, but it might be because we literally reserved it 15 minutes before arriving
Clean and bright with everything you need. Fresh, thoughtful decor. Lots of inclusions. Modern bathroom.
What could be improved: There were 2 doors with locks. The first into a shared foyer. We found this lock impossible to operate. The 2nd door lock into our apartment was okay.
We found it difficult to find at first as it is above a cafe that you walk through to gain access.
Exceptional It was a really nice place to stay in Karlovy Vary, practically in the city center, very cosy and comfortable. Everything we needed was there from cups/plates to hairdryer. We enjoyed the stay and the provider was very nice and thoughtful.
What could be improved: Everything was amazing, maybe a little bit cold in the room.
Brilliant. Excellent value
